Coasters are very useful and you can’t really have too many of them so It’s never really a bad time to customize a few. It’s a great activity for when you’ve nothing better to do and in the mood to craft something pretty without investing too much time and effort. That being said, check out these geometric felt coasters. To make these you need some felt, cork tiles, plain cardstock, and craft glue.
This simple craft turns your ragged cardigans, shrunken V-necks, or the kids’ castoffs into coasters that you can use time and time again. Wash 100% wool in hot water, then dry with an agitator like jeans. After three rounds, sweaters should feel taut and felt-like. Use a pencil and a large-mouthed glass to trace circles onto the fabric and then snip out a set. Glue the fabric to the tile and let it dry completely.
As it turns out, those scrapbook paper leftovers can be useful and the same thing can be said about wrapping paper. You could use some pieces to customize a bunch of patterned coasters. You can also make using resin, a circle silicone mold, scrapbook paper, mod podge, and a paintbrush. Then paint over the paper and tile with mod podge. Let it dry and repeat 2 or 3 times.

Some call it a remote holder, others call it Pillow pocket. No matter what you call it, store it in this no-sew pillow pocket. Start by cutting a pocket from an old pair of jeans or jacket. Then sandwich fusible fleece between the jean pocket and pillow cover, and iron layers together. Put the cover back on the pillow and cozy up for the game day.

To make, clamp the pillowcase into the hoop, tie on a loop of ribbon to the hoop’s clamp, and hang near your hamper.
Tired of losing your keys? Maybe it’s time you become crafty and solve this problem. A wire keyholder is pretty easy and since you’ll be using pliable wire you can basically just shape it however you like. When storage is limited and there’s not a lot of space to work with, you have to get creative.
